Senior Pastor, Robert J. Wright

   Robert J. Wright is the founder and Senior Pastor of Word Alive Christian Faith Center WACFC in Charlotte, NC. A non-denominational Word of Faith, Christ-centered ministry. With more than 20 years of ministering the gospel, he is also an anointed musician. 

   Pastor R.J. began teaching the word and ministering throughout metro Detroit and Ohio...but got his roots at Jesus Prayer Center Church under the leadership of his grandmother and Pastor , Bessie Mae Wright. There he meet his wife as she served as choir director and praise and worship leader. He served as sunday school teacher and the minister of music. He later opened his home up for many years, to a weekly Bible Class taught mainly by Evangelist Gloria Ransom and himself. This is were the journey began...

   In 1998, R.J. Wright recieved the vision for WACFC  while serving as sunday school teacher and minister of music at Ressurection Ministries in Detroit , Michigan. One year later, he moved his family to Charlotte ,North Carolina. Pastor R.J. immediately continued the in home Bible Class until he was able to obtain a location for the ministry.

   In 2000 , WACFC held it's first worship service on the campus Kennedy Middle School in the auditorium. A few years later moved it's services to the Summerfiled Suites Hotel conference room , before moving to their current facility in Charlotte.

   In the fall of 2005, the Lord led him to teach the Word of God in South Carolina. A few month's later he opened the door's to a second congregation in Lancaster, SC.

   Pastor R.J. is known for his straight forward yet practical Bible teaching. By ministering the love of God and the Word of God with clarity and understanding , he speaks to "total man". He and his wife Jacqueline are the parents of five, grandparents of one and reside in southwest Charlotte, North Carolina.

Pastor, Jacqueline E. Wright

   Jacqueline E. Wright is the Executive Administrator, Co-Pastor, and overseer of the Women's Fellowship at Word Alive Christian Faith Center. In addition to her administrative and teaching responsibilities, she also serves as psalmist and praise & worship leader where she is instructed by God to exhort and usher the people of God into His presence with singing, thanksgiving and anointed praise. She also leads the Sunday morning corporate prayer.

   Jacqui is a native of Detroit, MI and began her ministry of the psalmist at seven years old. She sang in the choir at the Cathedral of Bountiful Blessings C.O.G.I.C., at Jesus Prayer Center Church where she served as the choir director and worship leader. In 1996 as a member of Resurrection Ministries she also served as the praise and worship leader. Jacqui is a gifted songwriter and has ministered in song throughout the Detroit metro area, Ohio and South Carolina.

   As a mother and grandmother, her primary purpose is raising godly faith-filled children and supporting her husband in the ministry.
